Pricing · Fixed, agreed upfront

What it
costs

Most studios make you book a call to find out whether you can afford them. Here are the actual numbers, so you can decide before you spend an hour on the phone with me.

These are starting prices, and they're honest ones — not a low number designed to get you on a call. A five-page site for a local clinic and a twenty-page site with a booking system are genuinely different jobs, so the final figure depends on what's actually in front of us.

What doesn't change: once we've talked it through, I agree a fixed price in writing before any work starts. No hourly meters, no scope creep, no surprise line items at the end. If the project grows halfway through, we agree the change and its cost before I build it.

I take on a small number of projects at a time, which is why I'd rather you self-select here than find out three emails in that we're not a fit.

Website check

Free

A short personal video walking through your current site — what's working, what's costing you enquiries, and what I'd do about it. No obligation, and no follow-up beyond a nudge or two.

  • Reviewed on a real phone, not a checklist
  • Design, speed, SEO and AI visibility
  • Back with you within two working days

AI Visibility & Speed Fix

Keep your site — fix what's under it
from £350

A day or two of focused work on the website you already have. I don't touch your design; I fix the things underneath it that decide whether you get found.

  • Structured data & llms.txt
  • Metadata, headings & semantic markup
  • Image compression & Core Web Vitals
  • Turned around inside a week

Landing page

One page, doing one job properly
from £950

A single hand-coded page designed around one goal — a launch, a service, a campaign. Fast, distinctive, and built to convert rather than just exist.

  • Bespoke design, hand-built code
  • Motion & interaction where it earns its place
  • SEO and AI-readiness as standard
  • Typically 2–3 weeks

Website & SEO

The core of what I do
from £2,500

A bespoke multi-page site, designed and coded from scratch, with motion and search built in from the first line rather than bolted on at the end. This is the Maldon Gymnastics and Travel in Style tier.

  • A page for every service you sell
  • Technical, on-page & local SEO
  • Scroll and hover motion, built for 60fps
  • Typically 4–8 weeks

Brand & website

Identity and site, designed together
from £4,500

Logo, type, colour and the words that carry them — designed alongside the website rather than handed to someone else to interpret. One vision, start to finish.

  • Logo, type & colour system
  • Brand guidelines & asset pack
  • Messaging & copy direction
  • Everything in the tier above

Care plan

Optional, and cancellable
from £95/month

Hosting, updates, small changes and a plain-English monthly note on how the site is doing. Entirely optional — plenty of clients take the site and run it themselves, and I'll make sure they can.

  • Hosting, backups & security
  • Small changes and content updates
  • Monthly report in plain English
  • One month's notice, any time

Paying monthly

If the lump sum is the problem

A good website is often the thing a business most needs and least wants to pay for in one go. So if the cost is the obstacle rather than the work, you can spread it: a deposit to start, then twelve monthly payments.

ProjectDepositThenTotal
Landing page £180 12 × £80 £1,140
Website & SEO £600 12 × £200 £3,000
Brand & website £1,200 12 × £350 £5,400

Monthly pricing is a little higher than paying outright — that's the cost of spreading it, and I'd rather show you the difference than hide it. The care plan is included free for the twelve months, so hosting, updates and reporting are covered while you pay.

You own the site either way. Twelve months, not twenty-four. No rolling contract that quietly renews, and no arrangement where the website stops working if you stop paying — the code is yours from the day it launches. If you want to leave at the end of the term and host it yourself, I'll help you move it.

What moves the number

Honest variables
01

How many pages

The single biggest factor. A page for every service ranks far better than one page listing them all — but each one is designed, written and built.

02

Whether you have copy

If the words exist and are good, we move fast. If they need writing or rewriting, that's real work and I'll price it openly rather than pad the build.

03

Bookings, payments, logins

Anything a visitor can do rather than read — booking a class, paying a deposit, logging in — adds build and testing time.

04

Whether you'll edit it

A site you update yourself needs a CMS behind it. Worth it if you post often; unnecessary cost if you don't.

05

Photography

Good photography changes a site more than almost anything I can do. I don't shoot it, but I'll tell you honestly when it's the better place to spend.

06

How competitive your search is

Ranking for “gymnastics in Maldon” and ranking for “solicitor in Essex” are different jobs. More competition means more SEO groundwork.

Always included

Never an upsell
  • Hand-written code — no templates, no page-builders
  • Mobile-first, tested on real devices
  • Accessible markup and keyboard navigation
  • Technical & on-page SEO
  • AI-search readiness — schema and llms.txt
  • Core Web Vitals and genuine speed
  • Google Business Profile setup guidance
  • A walkthrough so you can run it yourself

Some studios charge separately for “AI optimisation” or “SEO packages” on top of a build. I don't — they're not extras, they're what building a website properly means. Here's what that actually involves.

When I'm the wrong call

Saving us both time

You can get a three-page website in Essex for around £325. That is a real option and for some businesses it's the right one — if you need a basic online presence so people can find your phone number, don't spend £2,500 with me to get it.

Where I earn my fee is when the website is how you get customers: when you're competing for local search, when the way it looks affects whether people trust you with money, when a booking or an enquiry is worth hundreds of pounds to you. If your website is a brochure, buy a brochure. If it's a salesperson, it's worth building properly.

Not sure which you are? Ask me for the free check and I'll tell you straight, even when the answer is that you don't need me.

Let's build something good.

Tell me a little about your project and I'll come back with an honest, fixed-price quote — usually within a day.
