Plesner Studio is me — Michal Plesner — a UK-based independent website and brand designer. When you hire the studio, you work with the person doing the work. No layers, no handoffs.
Why work with one person
Most studios put a salesperson in the room and a stranger on the keyboard. I do both — which means the person who understands your business is the same person designing and building it. Nothing gets lost in translation, and you always know exactly who you're talking to.
I design and hand-code, which is rarer than it should be. It means the thing you approve in design is the thing that ships — pixel for pixel — and that every site is built lean, fast and properly, not assembled from a page-builder and hoped for the best.
How I work
Small number of projects at a time, so each one gets real attention. Fixed prices agreed upfront, so there are no nasty surprises. Plain English instead of jargon. And I answer my own email — usually within a day.
A little background
I started Plesner Studio because I kept seeing good businesses let down by slow, templated websites that didn't sound like them or show up in search. I work the way I'd want someone to work for me: take the time to understand the business first, build everything by hand so it's fast and exactly right, and stay straight with people throughout.
